The rush ended in 1864, but gold panning lives on with Nobility Outdoors. We own over 60 acres of gold mining claims in Northern California in the heart of Gold Country.

Prospecting for Gold and panning is an excellent hobby for all ages, not just the geology enthusiasts, but anyone looking to spend some peaceful time outdoors. Although there is an art and a learning curve to the activity, gold panning is relatively easy to get started in; plus, our guides no every little thing you need to know to get you on some gold.

Shovels in hand, covered in dust, we will work in the sandy soil Creeks and pan like so many before us did. We will search the hillside and spill offs for the flakes of fortune that have drawn people to this gold rich land since the 1840s.

While finding gold is the goal of most Prospectors at first before they book this adventure, they will tell you after the sounds of the running water, the birds chirping all around, the history of the men before you that did this and most importantly the bound you create with your friends and family around you in mother nature is the real gold.
